U.S. And China To Resume Military Talks-Clinton

Text

`It is in our interest to work harder to build on areas of common concern and shared opportunities,` Clinton said in a speech

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday the United States and China would later this month resume military-to-military talks that Beijing suspended last year after U.S. arms sales to Taiwan.

"It is in our interest to work harder to build on areas of common concern and shared opportunities," Clinton said in a speech at the Asia Society. "I am happy to say our two countries will resume mid-level, military-to-military discussions later this month," she said.
