Pope Benedict XVI urged Catholic pharmacists to stop selling drugs that prevent pregnancy or assist in euthanasia.
At the World Congress of the International Alliance of Catholic pharmacists in Poland, Pope Benedict XVI encouraged all the pharmacists not to deviate from their own consciences in the name of the market laws and reminded them that they must respect Church’s moral laws instead. He was referring to a medication that can terminate or prevent pregnancy and help with the execution of euthanasia.
One needs to adhere to teachings of the Church
According to Vecernji List, the Pope was really clear in condemning birth control pills, abortion practices, and drugs that help euthanasia. He believes that the Church's teaching, concerning respect for life and dignity of man, should be followed by the pharmacists.
Thus, the Pope has shown that the Church does not cease to condemn contraceptives, despite many public protests and modern views on life.
Congress of Pharmacists was held under the name “Safety of drugs: ethics and conscience for pharmacists”.

People who have less clout than pharmacists--people who are not professionals--can't afford to make trouble for themselves in the workplace by demanding special conscience rights based on hairsplitting distinctions. (Can you imagine a vegetarian applying for a job as a grocery clerk and demanding that a "colleague" ring up all meat purchases--including yogurt and candy with gelatin in it?) That's the practical side. But shouldn't the pope demand that employers provide a conscience clause for all these people? Why should THEY be forced to participate in MURDER just because it would be a total headache for employers to allow them to choose not to? What a concession to elitism and the ownership class the religious control freaks make when they ignore all the non-professionals in this matter!
Somehow, in spite of their education and professional status, many pharmacists seem to be vulnerable to being manipulated by authority. It makes me wonder if there is something about the personality type attracted to the discipline that makes them susceptible to authoritarian rule. So we shpuld value life which is more valuable than cash advance.

Drugs is the worldwide problem that kills humanity. I hope so much that most of doctors will think about Pope's words. I understand that huge profits make people a little crazy but selling drugs they become really crazy because they don't realize what thay do.
There is frash news:
A Malaysian court has sentenced an Indian man to death after finding him guilty of carrying a bag filled with illegal drugs at Kuala Lumpur's airport.
Defence lawyer James Wong said the High Court found Athiseshan Singaram, a textile company driver, guilty of drug trafficking, which carries a mandatory death penalty in Malaysia.
Officials said Singaram was arrested in July 2008 after arriving at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport from New Delhi with 20 kilograms of ketamine in his bag.
Mr Wong said Singaram claimed the drugs were not his and would appeal against the conviction.
Ketamine is an anaesthetic used for animals and humans, but its psychedelic side effects make it a popular recreational drug.
Let's fight with this vice because some people are ready to take same day cash advance to get drug in no time.
