NATO Planning Croatia’s Long-term Cooperation

ZAGREB, CROATIA – NATO is planning on Croatia’s long-term cooperation and there is no need for a change of plans, NATO’s Military Committee chairman, Admiral Giampaolo di Paola, said on Sunday. 

Unnecessary changing of plans 

We urge Slovenian political leaders to make possible for Croatia to enter NATO. But because of a few days or weeks we will not have to change the plans of military operations because we are honestly hoping that Croatia and Albania will be sitting at the table at the NATO Summit, di Paola told Croatian Television.

If this happens a day later, which we do not want, that is democracy too. But it will not be necessary to change plans. We are planning Croatia’s long-term cooperation in NATO, he stressed.
