The first case of the H1N1 virus infection has been confirmed in Bosnia. The patient went to a hospital in the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska last week after spending time abroad. 

- We have registered the first case of the swine flu in a 24-year-old woman who returned from a visit to South America – assistant health minister Amela Lolic said.

The tests done at the national laboratory Torlak in Belgrade detected the presence of the virus.
