`China expresses regret and worry about the International Criminal Court`s issuing of an arrest warrant against Bashir,` Qin Gang said.
"China expresses regret and worry about the International Criminal Court's issuing of an arrest warrant against the Sudanese President," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said in a statement reported by the Xinhua news agency.
"China opposes any actions that may interfere in the peace situation in Darfur."
But Qin did not say whether his government would seek to suspend the Court's action through the United Nations Security Council.
