Ljubicic Fails Against Troicki 6:4, 5:7, 6:4

Croat Ivan Ljubicic said goodbye to the PBZ Indoors tournament in the second round, after he was beaten by Serbian tennis player Viktor Troicki 6:4, 5:7, 6:4. The match lasted two hours and 20 minutes. Not even 19 were enough for Ljubicic to win, while Viktor had only seven.

Ljubicic opened the match poorly and lost his serve in the first set. Troicki used one of two break points and deservingly won the first set.

Ljubicic used only three break points

At the start of the second set, Ivan again lost his serve, but managed to concentrate and take beat Troicki 7:5, after using his third break point. Once the best Croatian tennis player opened the third set well and could celebrate, because he was leading 3:1, however, this is where his problems occurred and Troicki caught up with him. The Serbian tennis player easily scored his last point for victory. His serve was too powerful for Ljubicic, who barely managed to tough the ball.

Ljubicic could have won the match if he had used 11 break points, but he used only three. He had trouble with the first serve, which showed records of 60 percent, while Troicki`s serve was at 72 percent.

Thus, the Croatian tennis player will not have the chance of playing in the final, which he has played in the past three years. He won the PBZ Indoors tournament once.
