Kvitfjell Men`s Super-G Called Off

Snow and fog in the Norwegian resort of Kvitfjell forced organisers to call off a men's Alpine skiing World Cup super-G scheduled for Sunday.

"Due to the present weather conditions and today's forecast, the jury has decided to cancel today's super-G in Kvitfjell', they said in a statement.

It was not immediately clear whether the race would be rescheduled. But with downhill training for the World Cup finals in Are, Sweden, starting on Monday, that looked unlikely.
