Burglars robbed the home of American cyclist David Zabriskie while he was taking part in an eight-day Race Through California.
At the California Tour Zabriskie won second place. In the meantime, burglars broke into his Salt Lake City home in Utah.
Zabriskie’s mother, who regularly checks up on the house while he is away, discovered that the house was burgled. The thieves stole 21 items, including the bicycle he rode at the Olympic Games in Beijing, as well as his car. The damage was estimated at 160,000 dollars.
