Handball is back in Croatian reality, because qualifiers for the 2010 European Championship in Austria are here. Manager of the Croatian handball team Lino Cervar arrived from the shadows, to announce what was next in the four remaining matches.

EC qualification is the basic goal

- We are going for four wins: against Finland, Hungary, Slovak Republic and Greece - Lino Cervar said, adding that he was convinced many players are exhausted after an extremely difficult season.

However, obligations and obligations and Cervar is aware of how he needs to qualify for the championship. They need to be at least second for this, which should not be a problem, but Lino would not be himself if he was not aiming for first place. Always the first, always victorious – this is his motto.

- The first task is to qualify for the EC, the second is first place in the group. We are gathering on Friday in Zagreb, we will train for three days and are off to Helsinki for the first match - Lino Cervar announced what was next.

Therefore, Finland will host Croatia on June 9 in Helsinki, then Hungary is next in Croatia`s Zadar on June 14, while the Slovak Republic will come to the same city on June 17. In the end, the match against Greece is announced for Jun e21. Cervar`s biggest desire is to win against Hungary with at least a two-goal difference, in order to compensate for the defeat from Veszprem last year.
