Croatia’s rifle shooter Snjezana Pejcic won the title of European Champion in air rifle shooting at 10 metres at the European Shooting Championship in Prague. Croatia’s shooters in the same discipline got a solver medal as a team.
Pejcic won gold with a total of 500.5 rounds and in the qualifications she shot 397 rounds, which would be the second result Pejcic has turned into a gold medal. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, Pejcic won the bronze gold.
Germany’s Beatte Gauss (499.3/398) won the silver medal and Czech Republic’s Pavla Kalna (498.8/397) won the bronze medal.
In team competition, the Norway team got the gold medal (1187) the Croatian team got the silver medal (1186) and the German team the bronze medal (1184)
