Questions regarding her gender rose after her incredible success in 800 meter race. Will she be allowed to participate in athletic events again and in what category?
International athletic federation (IAAF) is ready to disqualify Caster Semenya from all the future performances. Young athlete was instructed that she should immediately undergo a surgery because her health is in grave danger. She may be even stripped her gold medal.
Daily Telegraph reports that this finding is the result of the tests administered with a sole purpose of discovering her gender. The findings finally arrived and confirmed what was suspected all along, that Semenya is actually a hermaphrodite. IAAF will receive the full medical report during the week.
Semenya’s testicles are supposedly drawn-in
Semenya’s testosterone levels are three times higher than that of average women. She supposedly has drawn-in testicles, that is, testosterone producing organs commonly found in males. Her medal has not been taken away yet, but that is mostly because of South Africa’s reactions. They fully support Mabuse and often launch a variety of verbal attacks against IAAF’s Monte Carlo headquarters. The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the UN, received the appeal by the African National Congress and the Assembly, charging IAAF with racism and sexism.
On the other hand, young Semenya says how she is not particularly upset because she is happy with who and what she is. However, although the finger of guilt is currently directed against the IAAF, some sources say that the African track and field association is to be blamed for the situation because they should have known about something like this prior to the competition.
