The Brazilian supermodel Izabel Goulart is the star of the new Victoria’s Secret campaign.
Her beauty is reminiscent of the other Victoria’s Secret angels like Miranda Kerr, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima.
Goulart has also entered a project which gathers funds for free insulin, intended for Brazilian hospitals. This humanitarian arrangement has a special meaning for Izabel, because her brother was diagnosed with diabetes as a baby.
Misses her mother’s cooking
Goulart was born on October 23, 1984 in Sao Paulo, but her roots are from Italy. She has four brothers and one sister.
“But the hardest part about being an Angel is I spend time away from my mom's food and away from my home with my five brothers and sister” said Izabel in an interview.
Her school days were very hard because, due to her skinniness and height, her peers often made fun of her with nicknames like “giraffe”.
During her career she has worn fashion creations for big names like Bill Blass, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Jill Sander, Chanel, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren and Stella McCartney.
The first time that she appeared in a fashion show for Victoria’s Secret was in 2005, when she became an “angel”.
She has posed for top photographers like Terry Richardson, David Sims, Greg Kadel and Vincent Peters, and her face and body have decorated many famous magazines. Izabel was also the face of Armani Exchange. Take a look at the photo gallery of Izabel Goulart, and the video Victoria Goulart on the Catwalk to she how she handles the catwalk.
