Musicians and actresses posed on the red carpet, next to their favourite designers, as the best walking marketing move.
The night of fashion glamour shone under Moon dust of the Elle Style Awards, traditionally held for the twelfth year running at London`s Big Sky. It was an opportunity for all current players of the fashion industry and those in the shadows to come together in one place: models, signers, actors, stylists, designers, hairstylists, make-up artists etc.
The award for best fashion designer went to Burberry creative director Christopher Kane, while Peter Pilatto was smashing as the upcoming hope. Although designer Matthew Williamson cheered for ex model Twiggy to be named style icon, and TV host Alexa Chung be named queen, this
I would give an Elle style award to the Queen, because she is constantly inspiring me with her mix of tweed, barber and silk. I appreciate anyone who does not actually change their look or outfit for their entire lives. It`s brilliant!

I appreciate anyone who does not actually change their look or outfit for their entire lives. It`s brilliant! – Alexa Chung said, with an expression on her face which hinted she was more amazed with the Queen, rather than admiring her. Watch the VIDEO.
Stars as walking advertisements for the designer
However the red carpet was a sight for sore eyes, with actors and music stars declaring their affection for certain fashion designers. Anna Friel wore a Viktor & Rolf dress, designers who were named visionaries. Wild and unbridled musician Courtney Lowe received the woman of the year reward in Givenchy`s black dress with puffy sleeves, which caught her eye several weeks ago at the haute couture collection presentation for spring in Paris. Of course, the stars, who are the best walking marketing move, also included the designers. British print king Henry Holland replaced Agyness Deyn with two other “it” girls Alice Dellal and Pixie Geldof, ; latest H&M capsule addition Matthew Williamson stood next to Sienna Miller; Karolina Kurkova posed with Peter Pilott, while Anna Friel came with fashion duo Vitkor & Rolf.
Not even theatrical and dark designer Gareth Pugh could miss the ceremony, the fashion industry`s hope, who was embraced by the leading world company that owns luxury brands LVMH.
