Extensive research has shown that most symptoms appear after a lengthy period of poisoning and accumulation of toxins in the body. The silent killer that has been killing people around the world for decades hides in diet products, chewing gum, instant coffees and soft drinks. Despite extensive, independent scientific research that showed that Aspartame causes brain tumour, blindness and as many as 90 other illnesses, we are still being served the poison and we think it is making our lives sweeter.
Accidental discovery of the chemical
At the beginning of the 1980s a new, low calorie, artificial sweetener began to be used in the United States – Aspartame. Along with its use, scientists noted a significant increase in brain tumour patients between 1983 and 1987. The U.S. national cancer institute was concerned because they could not explain the increase in the number of patients. They knew it was not because of the new technology, the method of uncovering tumours or the ways of their classification because the methods were not changed for decades. Scientists were even more confused by the fact that the number of patients with other types of cancer stayed the same or was reduced. Studies began that discovered the manipulation of the food industry that released the silent killer onto the market.
Aspartame was discovered by chemist James M. Schlatter in 1965. During one of his experiments, a drop fell on his finger which he automatically licked and realised the chemical was extremely sweet. Aspartame got its popularity from the fact that it was 180 times sweeter than sugar and has much less calories.
Beginning of evil
Aspartame started being used in various products in the United States in 1983. In 1984 Americans consumed as many as 3,130,000 kilograms of Aspartame. A year later the consumption of Aspartame doubled and continued to grow in the 1990s.
Only several months after the beginning of consumption of Aspartame in the United States the number of diabetics increased by 30% and the number of brain tumour patients by 10%. Since the beginning of the usage of Aspartame in products by 1988, the number of complaints to the Food and Drug Administration with regards to additives grew by 80% and all related to products that contained Aspartame.
Aspartame affects DNA
Aspartame affects proteins, certain parts of the brain and also the DNA. Because of this the poison can affect many organs and there are many symptoms. Still, the list of symptoms assembled by the FDA indicates that most of them are neurological. Some of the symptoms are: headaches, dizziness, mood swings, stomach cramps, stomach aches, changes in vision, seizures, tremors, diarrhoea, memory loss, feebleness, tiredness…
People are different with relation to their sensitivity to toxins, so the symptoms do not appear at the same time with everybody.
Research has shown that most symptoms appear after a lengthy period of poisoning and accumulation of toxins in the body. Aspartame hinders normal functioning of the brain because it affects neurotransmitters and the entire gland system.
Numerous cases of Aspartame poisoning showed that the symptoms withdrew as soon as the consumption of the artificial sweetener is ceased, although there are, of course, some long-term consequences.
Aspartame is not a natural product, but a chemical whose molecule contains 50% of phenylalanine, 40% of aspartic acid and 10% of methyl ester that, when swallowed, turns to methanol, which is pure poison.
Horrific research results
Preliminary research results of Aspartame based on which the FDA approved the use of the chemical were doctored. The FDA accepted Aspartame as a safe product based on studies that were financed by the industry and whose results were falsified. Scientists claim that there is a specially designed method of research that could influence results.
Later independent research showed the chemical’s true effect on the body. Research on rats and
mice proved, among other things, that Aspartame does indeed cause brain tumour.
One study was conducted on monkeys to see the effect of the toxin on primates. The monkeys consumed Aspartame with milk that naturally slows down its effect. Out of seven monkeys, six started having seizures and one died.
Research on mice showed that Aspartame also affected offspring because it affects the DNA. The offspring of mice that consumed the sweetener had severe brain damage.
Today Aspartame is used in thousands of products and there is an onslaught of commercials for the products.
Products for diabetics, chewing gums, low calorie drinks, chocolates, instant coffees, puddings, ice teas, yoghurts are products that most often contain Aspartame. It is recommended that consumers check the label of the product and pay attention to which sweetener is used.
