The food that will keep you healthy and beautiful
Watching one’s diet is not easy, however when you know what certain foods do for your body, the process becomes a lot easier.

The idea of going on a diet is repulsive for most of us. Not that we like having chunky thighs or bulky stomach, but it is so hard to give up all those fat and delicious snacks. However, we all know that those same snacks will not have a good effect on your face and your body.
Smart people who researched properties of various foods composed a list of some foods that are good for both our health and our beauty. They might prove to be additional motivation for you and so, we bring some of them here:
Apple Vinegar
Besides having an amazing healing properties, which are widely advertised in numerous magazines for women, the apple vinegar can also make your skin very soft. Its great concentration of enzymes helps in ‘peeling’ of the skin cells. In addition, it melts fat and helps digestion.
Carrots
This wonderful vegetable prevents premature aging of the skin.
Cheese
Put a smile on your own face by eating a slice or two of cheese. Choose Swiss, cheddar or Gouda to prevent bacteria in your mouth from dcaying your teeth.
Citrusy fruits
Citrusy fruits promote the production of collagen in the skin. As the collagen cannot enter the skin from the outside (whatever advertisements for expensive cosmetics say), the best way for them to enter the body is by eating fruit or drinking juice from citrus. Let it be part of your daily diet.
Cranberry
Berries are growing increasingly popular. This is not surprising because many studies have shown that, among other things, they are very beneficial for the urinary tract.
Garlic
While many avoid garlic in an attempt to avoid bad breath, pills may be a suitable alternative. Garlic does wonders in removing wrinkles, that is, it is excellent for tissue regeneration.
Non-Fat yogurt
Yoghurts are a great source of calcium, which can make your smile pearly white and keep your mouth cavity clean.
Potato
Although sweet potatoes are not common food in Croatia, the ladies who want to get rid of wrinkles should start using it regularly. Experts swear that this food is an amazing ally in fighting wrinkles and that is full of vitamins. Eating sweet potatoes can help skin become extra smooth and soft.
Tomato
Tomato or ‘apple of love’ is the perfect gift for your skin because it is full of vitamins, especially vitamins A and C.
Wheat germ
You should consume at least two tablespoons of wheat germ every day. Add them to your favorite flakes or yogurt and enjoy a healthy and nutritious breakfast. Your digestion will thank you.
You may not a fan of some of the foods from the list, but every meal that you eat should include healthy foods. Eat three to five times a day and try to eat more raw vegetables, especially green ones (lettuce).
As for meat, let it always be lean - the best would be chicken or turkey. Ideally, one meal a day would include a fish, but those who do not like it, can settle for eating it least three times a week.
Just like vegetables, fruits are also of paramount importance for your body, so do not leave home without a fruit in the bag. Develop a habit of eating a fruit at least twice or thrice a day.
