Scientists have proved for the first time that creams can turn normal skin into dry.
There probably is not a woman in the world who has not noticed that after she stopped using a face cream, or body and hands lotion, her skin became more dry that it was prior to the usage. This phenomenon has now been scientifically proved.
Scientists have proved for the first time that creams can turn normal skin into dry. The research was conducted by Izabela Buraczewska for her doctor`s thesis at the Uppsala University in Sweden, Science Daily writes.
The scientists studied skin on a molecular level to determine positive and negative consequences of putting on moisturising creams.
Her study has shown that the pH of creams plays no part when it comes to their influence on the skin. Buraczewska also studied the affect of various oils on the skin and determined that the skin is less able to cope with external stresses after their application.
The scientist hopes these findings would lead to additional research, as well as the development of creams which will have a positive effect on the ski, without making it drier.Comment
