New York kids Traver Rains and Richie Rich are a designer duo that goes by the name Heatherette. The culture of their design promotes club kids whose motto is: fun, fun, fun! 

They started designing T-shirts on their living room floor and today their clothes are worn onstage by stars like Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Pink, Britney Spears. The designer duo also created the Hello Kitty line, which looks absolutely lovely with the kitty mascot. Puma hired them to design purses for the fall 2007 collection.

Rains and Rich turned to the upbeat pop culture that screams with colour and installations. They are a little like the Elfs duo. Witty, cheerful and always ready for action in fashion.

Heatherette presented the new collection for spring 2008 at the famed New York Fashion Week. The boys once again showed that fashion can be crazy clubbing fun. They hired adult movie star Jenna Jameson and transexual icon Amanda Lepore as models. 

Their collection is an upbeat presentation of sexy dresses made of effective materials. The cuts are confection classics by themselves and Heatherette complemented them with layered glistening pearl collages, which lent the designs volume. So let the party begin!
