A large casting session was held for models, leading up to the upcoming fashion event of the seasons, the Quelle Fashion.hr which is scheduled for February 12 to 14 in Varazdin. Amongst others, models from the following agencies attended: Midikenn, Sandra, Talia and Basic.

Famous Croatian designers like Robert Sever, Branka Donassy and Ivica Klaric chose models that will present their collections for autumn/winter 2009/2010 at the event.

Robert Sever, Branka Donassy, Igor Dobranic, Natasa Kos, Anamarija Ricov, Stjepan Cuka, eNVy room, Igor Galas, Ivica Skoko, Etna Maar and Ivica Klaric are designer names that will fill Varazdin’s arena for three days in a row.

After the collection for spring/summer 2009 was presented in Zadar at the colourful installation “Greeting to the Sun”, by the awarded architect Nikola Basic, the new Quelle Fashion.hr  is creatively focused at black and white minimalism, and typical natural characteristics that represent autumn and winter. The creative director for the 2009/2010 season that will be presented soon is the Croatian photographer Mare Milin.

“We are proud that we progress from season to season, and that we achieve concrete results. The aim of Fashion.hr as the leading concept in the country was always, and will remain the promotion of Croatian design in the context of industrialisation. Together with our partner, the company Quelle, we have achieved a number of planned aims that we will proudly present to the wider public at the upcoming Fashion.hr in Varazdin. It is important to stress that this manifestation represents a real polygon for projects that we produce during the whole season. Besides massive production by Croatian designers, we are launching a new, redesigned fashion.hr internet portal and web shop, and are concentrating on product design and international promotion” said the director and producer of the fashion.hr concept, Vinko Filipic.
