LAST DAYS
FEBRUARY 26 2009 07:24h
London Fashion Week delighted with fashion shows by famous designers, who did not refrain from using a wide range of materials.
During the last day of womenswear shows, after which London Fashion Week bowed until the next season, designers presented what London is famous for – innovative inventions and absolute entertainment.
Eastern fashion, as always, has provided a glance to the future – it is not only lighter, but quite diverse.
Natascha Stolle impressed the audience with palettes of colours and clear clothing lines, adding spots of colour in order to increase the impression.
Maria Francesca Pepe liberated all sorts of colours in her collection, while at the same time Holly Fulton presented diverse craftsmanship, with Roisin Murphy in the front row.
Peter Pilotto also introduced innovations with the freshness of his collection with sky blue sweaters, while Osman Yousefzada presented a pale and opulent collection which was a master piece in elegant simplicity. On the contrary, Meadham Kirchhoff took his fashion show in an entirely different direction with various creations of motorcycle leather jackets.
Henry Holland strategically placed stripes on his models, emphasising the shoulders, Vogue writes.
