Madonna has teamed up with French fashion designer Christian Audigier, who is behind Von Dutch and Ed Hardy fashion brands, in an attempt to create a collection for all ages, Femalefirst reports.
Audigier confirmed that he and Madonna were working on the project called The Material Girl Project. It will be presented to the public in September. The designer pointed out that September was chosen because this is when school starts. They are already working on some prints and the collection should be finalised by the end of summer.
When Madonna says “no”, she really means “no”
They believe that not shutting anyone out is a good move. Pop queen Madonna, who shows with her appearance and performances that she is imaginative and innovative, has especially focused designing, while Christian is currently in London, promoting champagne and wine.
Audigier praised the singer, saying she is mindful of details and if she does not like something, she says it loud and clear and offers a different solution. The designer also said that when Madonna says “no”, she really means “no” and when she sees something she likes, she immediately starts thinking about which shoes or fashion accessories can complete the outfit.
We shall see which details she has in store for the “from 7 to 77” collection at the end of summer.
