Marc Jacobs: Kate Moss Is Muse Of Many Designers

Just as supermodel Kate Moss proudly announced her 27 th British Vogue cover designer Marc Jacobs dug out the legendary 1990 cover, on which the magic five posed.

Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Tatiana Patitz were

featured on the British Vogue cover taken by Peter Lindbergh. This image was also Marc Jacobs` announcement for the exhibition “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” at the costume institute.

The exhibition which starts on May 6 and runs until August 9 will pay tribute to models throughout decades, from Dior`s muses in the 40s to Versace`s Amazonians in the 90s. Its doors will open right after the Costume Institute Gala, hosted by Marc Jacobs and Kate Moss, Vogue writes.
