The South Korean housewife broke the Guinness record in marathon singing, with more than 76 hours of singing without stopping, in a karaoke bar in Seul.
Kim Sun-OK (54) broke the record held by the American Marcus Lapratt by an hour. In 76 hours she sung 1,283 melodies and only stopped after her family asked her to, because they were concerned about her health.
According to the rules of the Guinness world records, Kim had the right to 30 seconds a rest between songs and five minutes of rest each hour. Also, she was not allowed to repeat the same songs for a least four hours.
