A thief broke into the home of an Australian family and stole all the children’s presents. The shocked single mother had a heart attack.
Just three days before Christmas, Australian Kate Baker has to think of a way of buying new presents for her children and grandchildren. While the single mother was out having a drink with friends, a cruel thief broke into the house and stole all the presents she had prepared for her children and grandchildren.
When Kate returned home and found the children in tears, she had a heart attack from the shock. She was released from hospital the next day.
It is not about how much the presents cost, although I am a single mum and I work six days a week. It is that my little grandchildren were so excited about the presents, Kate told the Australian media.
The thief got into the house when 15-year-old Odin Baker left the house for 20 minutes, leaving the front door open. The theft was reported to police, but they only managed to find one plastic battery-powered car that was chucked away in a nearby garbage bin.
