Alexander Wang designed scarves and Donna Karan shirts with ‘Inspore Change’ printed on them to support the initiative ‘Runway to Change’.
Zac Prosen, Dinane von Furstenberg, Dinna Karan, Tory Burch and Alexander Wang have entered
among the ten designers who will open the ceremony of the newly-elected President of the United States, Barack Obama, taking up office.
Each one of them were made in charge of designing official clothes to support the initiative ‘Runway to Change’ which was started during Obama’s presidential campaign, Vogue reported.
- President-elect Obama is an incredibly inspirational leader. I am so excited to see the direction he and his team will take our country in the coming years, and look forward to supporting them in every way I can – said Burch, who designed handbags.

- I was hoping this could be a communication tool that would connect people to inspire change. It's everyone's responsibility to access their resources to call to action – Karan said.
