Lying on stones by the sea is painful and uncomfortable for most people and they cannot endure
more than several hours. But the feeling is much different when it comes to sitting objects which irresistibly remind us of blown-up pebbles from the outdoors.
Comfort without backache
Despite the fact they seem hard and uncomfortable, beds, tabourets, sofas, couches and armchairs envisioned by French designer Stephanie Marin are actually soft, smooth and comfortable, and guarantee good sleep and moments of relaxation.
With attractive looks, “stone” pebbles are ideal for decorating offices and homes – all generations equally love them, without fearing backache.
The only thing you need to do is have every household member find a stone which suits them most and comfortably settle down in front of the TV. We all want to behave like children sometimes. All who want their interior to look like a real amusement park can create such an atmosphere, thanks to the creativity of this young designer.
She creates and imaginary land and refuge for all generations with “living stones” she has made for the French “Smarin design” company.
Natural colours and composition
Her stones are neither hard nor heavy, thanks to their filling with non-processed wool. You can rest
assured your children will be uninjured, even though they throw “stones” at each other all day long, the size of a large rock. When they get weary from playing, it will provide you with comfortable sleep, just as the softest bed can.
Interesting shapes of sitting sets are eye-catching with their natural colours. Brown, beige, red, grey and dirty white dominate the mattresses and decorative pillows in the Livingston collection. Materials used to construct these attractive pieces of furniture are subtle and natural, therefore do not cause allergies.
Stephanie Marin believes “stone” furniture can imaginatively enrich even outdoor places like swimming pools and gardens.
Although kids will probably mostly enjoy stone furniture, not even adults will be deprived of carefree, relaxing atmosphere.
