Additional promotion of the Croatian tourist offer, conducted by the Croatian National Tourist Board, has been launched these days in Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania, Macedonia and the Ukraine, while it will be presented in Poland on May 15, the Croatian Ministry of Tourism announces Friday. According to the ministry, these messages are somewhat different from market to market.
Thus, the message for Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia reads: “When the heart says summer, it says Adriatic!”, while the slogan for Ukraine and Romania reads “Experience the beauty of diversity”, signed “Croatia: So beautiful, so close”.
In Poland, the slogans read “When the heart says summer, it says Croatia!” and the previously used slogan “Croatia. A small country for a big holiday”.
In the end, the home version of the motto, which will be broadcast on television and radio, and published in the press, reads “When the heart says summer, it says Croatia!”, signed “Croatia. So beautiful, so ours”.
The objective of these messages is to induce positive emotions and atmosphere, as well as a positive appeal when it comes to potential users, i.e. tourists in the communication range scope, the ministry claims, concluding that the slogan “Mediterranean as it once was” will remain the country`s main slogan of Croatian tourism and the Croatian National Tourist Board in 2009.
