Croatian tourism is being presented at the Salzburg Torism Show and according to the director of the Croatian Tourist Board in Austria Ranko Vlatkovic, good attendance was noticed on the first day already.

The Croatian Tourist Board will present itself at the Tourism Show in Salzburg from February 20 until 22, at an 80-squared-metre exhibition area, among 200 exhibitors from 20 countries.

Croatian-Austrian tourist co-operation is on the rise. Last year, over 800,000 Austrian guests visited Croatia, recording over 4,200,000 overnight stays.

- We will be pleased if the number of arrivals of Austrian tourists increases by one percent –

The Croatian Tourist Board will present itself at the Tourism Show in Salzburg from February 20 until 22, at an 80-squared-metre exhibition area, among 200 exhibitors from 20 countries.
Vlatkovic said. He added that this was a realistic expectation, considering the vicinity of Croatia in relation to Austria and “according to surveys of the main travel agents, Croatia might really be a winner, along with Italy this year”.

Comparison numbers will be ready at the end of March, when first booking results will be ready, Vlatkovic said, adding:

- Our optimism is a result of great interest of individual guest at tourism shows in Vienna, Linz and Graz –

Apart from Salzburg, Croatian tourism will also be presented in Tuln from March 5 until 8, at the largest nautical fair in Austria called “Tuln Boot”.
