ZAGREB, CROATIA – According to the Regulations on assessing the work of officials and employees, passed by the City government last week, Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic will be able to grade the work of his employees at the City administration, with marks from 1 to 5. Employees will be collection points.
City heads will be graded every year, until March 31 for the previous period, and only one F (or 1 out of 5) is sufficient for the official to end up at another post. On the other hand, if an employee “earns” an excellent grade several times, they can advance.
The criteria for assessment are: expertise, creativity and self-initiative in performing tasks, quality and range of performed tasks and relation towards co-workers.
