During the visit of the electorial stands at Zagreb's Ban Jelačić Square where the signatures in support of his candidacy have been collected, a presidential candidate Nadan Vidošević said he expects that the greater part of HDZ will support him mostly because, he said, - many party members were being held as hostages of the former (party) president. -
Therefore he expects the ciziens will think twice prior to considering their own decision on who to vote for, and that as an experienced politicians they surely will know how to make the proper decision because without that party just wouldn't last long in the power.
Vidošević adds that when it comes to the votes, he equally address the other people wanting greater Croatia, and he assesses, that the data on his support says enough given he already collected the necessary 10,000 signatures. Presidential candidate Vidošević considers that Croatia needs a stable HDZ, as it needs a stable SDP, and expressed his deepest concerns on what is happening in both parties.
While in campaign, he won't hand out the budgetary money, as some of them...
He reiterated that Croatia needs a valuable economic strategy. Commenting on the Podravka issues, he said the company should consolidate and increase its value in the first place, and commenting on its possible privatization one should primarely reflect only after the global market value increase.
- One must not forget that Podravka is valuable to entire Croatia, as much as it represents the backbone of the entire Podravina and it simply has to be preserved, - he said. Vidošević also announced that in 50 days of the pre-election presidential campaign, he'll sure try to visit the entire Croatia, but he also said, he won't dispose local or state budget money like the other.
