START OF TRIAL

Text
The trial of generals Ante Gotovina, Mladen Markac and Ivan Cermak has been postponed in The Hague due to unsolved issues.
It is almost impossible to begin the trial on May 7, said judge Moloto at the Status Conference in The Hague, warning parties in the trial that the postponement would not be long.
The reasons for the postponement are numerous unsolved issues relating to the trial. The appeals and trial chambers have not yet made a decision on three attorneys – Miroslav Separovic, Cedo Prodanovic and Jadranka Slokovic. Also all complaints about the indictment and a number of other logistical issues have not been resolved.
