Minister of the Interior Ivica Kirin must submit a report on the crime situation in the Republic of Croatia, and afterwards his resignation, told us Democratic Centre party (DC) Secretary General Vladimir Novotny, adding that the Croatian Police are beheaded with Kirin at the helm.

-All nonsense which he has been saying, Kirin says from the top of his head. This means that our police are beheaded- Novotny was vivid.

He added that this was yet another proof that Kirin is one of the weakest links in the government and that it is clear that such a person suits someone, i.e. that the Ministry of the Interior (MUP) and the Police have turned into a party military.

DC thinks that the demands of the Social-Democratic Party (SDP) for Kirin`s dismissal are justified because it is disastrous that the Minister, with all the criminals in the country, deals with the investigation on who has been publishing his recordings online.

-He was a bouncer at a disco, this is the sort of a crew this is, this Virovitica Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). Kirin is the smartest one among them; you can imagine what the rest are- Novotny concluded.

They introduced a reign of terror in Virovitica, the Djakic family does whatever it wants and Kirin protects them- Novotny said, thinking of the reported case to the police of physical assault by HVIDRA (Croatian Arm Invalids of the Homeland War) president Josip Djakic on party colleague Ivica Mihelcic, called Merdzo, which was allegedly covered up by Kirin.
