A meeting was arranged by telephone, and the details will be determined via diplomatic channels, reported the Croatian Cabinet.
After the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integrations received an answer from the Slovenian side to a diplomatic note from January 23, premier Ivo Sanader called the Slovenian premier Borut Pahor, reports the Croatian Cabinet.
The report states that Sanader and Pahor spoke of the current state of bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia.
They arranged a meeting soon, that should occur in the next two to three weeks. The details and the exact date of that meeting will be arranged via diplomatic channels.
Remember, the president of the European Parliament Hans-Gert Poettering recommended on Tuesday that political talks continue, and that a legal solution to that Croatian-Slovenian border dispute needs to be the result of those political talks. Premier Sanader totally supported Poettering’s statement.
“I totally agree, we need to start with political talks in order to achieve a sustainable legal solution” said Sanader.
