PhotoRepresentatives of the government, Parliament and parties laid down wreaths at the Mirogoj Cemetery anent All Saits` Day.
ZAGREB. CROATIA – Anent All Saints` Day, President of Croatian Stjepan Mesic, Parliament president Luka Bebic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader laid down wreaths at Zagreb`s Mirogoj Cemetery and lit up candles near the Wall of Pain monument and the central cross, along with representatives of and associations from the Croatian Homeland War.
Croatian President Stjepan Mesic laid down a wreath and lit up a candle near the tomb of the people`s heroes at the cemetery.
President of the Croatian Parliament Luka Bebic with a delegation and PM Ivo Sanader with ministers and representatives of and associations from the Croatian Homeland War laid down wreaths and lit up candles at the grave of first Croatian president Franjo Tudjman and at the central cross.
Delegations of the Croatian Parliament and the government laid down wreaths at the Joint tomb of unidentified victims of the Croatian Homeland War at the Crematorium and at the Homeland Altair in Medvedgrad.
A delegation of the City of Zagreb, headed by Mayor Milan Bandic and president of the City Assembly Tatjana Holjevac, also laid down wreaths and lit up candles at the Mirogoj Cemetery.
