The Australian documentary criticises Dubrovnik police which denied in the documentary that there were attempted abductions in Dubrovnik, although an Australian reported her kidnapping to the Dubrovnik police, and the other Australian reported it to the federal police, which notified Dubrovnik police.

Britt Lapthorne`s parents, Dale and Elke, said they believe their daughter was killed and want her death to be fully investigated.
