I googled and found information more damaging to your reputation than my statements – said the HNS party parliamentarian to Bandic.
ZAGREB, CROATIA - At a Zagreb city government meeting, the HNS (Croatian People’s Party) parliamentarian Morana Palikovic Gruden was brought face to face with the person that was suing her, Zagreb’s mayor Milan Bandic, who filed an indictment against her for damaging his honour and slander.
“You sued me for information that damages your honour as well as slander and damage to your reputation, sue Google. I “googled” and found information that does your reputation more damage than my statements” said the HNS parliamentarian to Zagreb’s mayor.
Remember, Bandic filed a law suit against the HNS parliamentarian, because in autumn 2007 she said that Galjufova Street, which was until then a dead end street, was being expanded to Vlaska Street only because Bandic’s daughter lives in the neighbouring Baboniceva Street.
However, Zagreb’s mayor answered her by saying that complaining will not help her now, but in court.
