ZAGREB, CROATIA – The president of the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS) party, Ivan Jakovcic,
commented on Tuesday’s meeting between Croatian and Slovene prime ministers Ivo Sanader and Borut Pahor. He said he did not expect much from the meeting at all, although it is good that it happened because “without dialogue there is no solution to any problem, including the Croatian-Slovene dispute”.
Jakovcic said he thinks Slovenia I aware it is in a dead-end street. But he added that he hoped that the recent events between Ljubljana and Slovenia will be overcome through dialogue.
- Croatia is faced with a kind of Slovenian ultimatum which it cannot accept – Jakovcic said, adding that he was for an international court solving the entire case.

I Did Not Expect Much From the Meeting
Did anybody expect much from the meeting? Slovenia is a strange little country. It actually thinks it is important. It has this guy Podobnik who wants his 15 minutes of fame and he is getting it. Congratulations Podobnik for making Slovenia look like fools on the International scene. I cannot tell you how ashamed the academy is. I cannot tell you how ashamed the priests of Slovenia are here in the Vatican. I cannot tell you ow ashamed most of the Slovenia population outside Slovenia are for this behavior. But, when stupidity reigns then who can stop the Slovenia people. Maybe they need a good polka or two and that will look after them.
