MAKARSKA, CROATIA – Makarska police officers are investigating the death of a 24-year-old from the Slovak Republic who was found dead in his suite on Monday morning, Split police announced on Tuesday.
The young man (M.P.) was found by his parents on Monday at 17 hours in the rented Makarska suite. Just before his death, the young man returned from the beach. His parents came right after him, but could not enter the suite, because their son was lying on the floor, blocking the door. They entered through the neighbouring suite`s balcony.
As ordered by the Split County Court investigative judge, the body was taken to the Pathology ward for an autopsy, which should determine the cause of death.
Police are still conducting the inquest in order to shed light on the event.
