- The people of Split have their "own" candidate, our local Nadan Vidošević, and I always support our people. But on the other hand, we've Milan Bandić, with whom I foster a friendly connaissance, he performs the same provost funcion as much as I do so he's generally able to do good things - retorted Kerum replying to the journalist question, during the Split City Assembly session break.
- Whoever out of those two- Vidošević or Bandić - enters the second ballot, we'll endorse him - added Kerum. Besides Kerum, the possible presidential candidacy outcome of Milan Bandić were even comented by Nadan Vidošević and Vesna Pusić. Independent presidential candidate Nadan Vidošević told it's good fact that even Zagreb mayor, Milan Bandić entered the presidential race and it's really not that important whether he'll take a part of the electoral register.
- It's not that important if Bandić take the part of the electoral register - Questioned about commenting Bandić's candidature given the fact that in the Croatian Economic Chamber he presented the poll results on the "Let's buy Croatian products" activities Vidošević said - he assumes that it's a good thing -, the same thing that he asserts regarding the possible expectations of the Bandić's candidature.
- I'd say it's a good thing that anyone who thinks being capable of giving something out to Croatia in times of already deepened moral and economic crisis, should in fact run for candidacy and it's a positive thing that such men have enetered the race, their ideas should reach the common man, so that once when the decision time comes, Croatian citizens can really say they have made the right choice, the way they want to live in the real Croatia - said Vidošević.
Vesna Pusić retorted diplomatically
HNS presidential canddiate Vesna Pusić commenting Bandić's candidature emphasized in her written statement that - the citizens of the Republic of Croatia will chose the one person whom they want to represent them regionally as well as on the international agenda. -
