Justitia et pax: The media's lying

Text

Assertions on the confrontation are a mere example of the communist behaviour, when one's assertions are based on ungrounded arguments

''Justitia et pax'' Commission of the Croatian Conference of Bishops (CCB) strongly declines the media lies on its alleged confrontation with the Zagreb's Archbishop Josip Bozanić.

This is nothing but, as quoted in today's communique of the Comission disclosed by the CCB Press Office, a typical communist behaviour when one's assertions are based on ungrounded arguments instead of going for the artificial schisms in the Church

- The bystanders of such a mental texture clearly don't understand the functioning of the Church institutions, which never go out in the public claiming irresponsible statements and out of synch. Every single statement, as much as this one is a sheer result of the team work along with the councelling of the best connoisseurs within certain field of work - is disclosed in the Comission communique, adding that's obviously certain individuals simply cannot understand that the Euroscepticism doesn't cover "an obsequious mentality" of the Croatian politicians against the EU, but more of an internationally conditioned and argumentative vindication of the national interests.

- It's stil not too late for that. The Comission calls up on the responsible individuals in our country to contravene the pressures and to watch over, install and reinforce the peace based on the international laws, which we as the Croatian citizens and the Church members really do care about and which furthermore advocate all the reasonable individuals in our country - the communique informs.

Our very own statement on the Croatian - Slovenian border issue was favourably received by the public

The Comission members, also, analysed the reactions of the public to it's statement on the Croatian - Slovenian border issue dating from October 31st, concluding it was favourably received in the public. In today's session The ''Justitia et pax'' Comission, presided by the bishop Vlado Košić, appointed Gordan Črpić as the new secretary.

The next Monday, November 16th, Comission plan to announce it's "new paper on the negationism, currently working on, but which will carry the current date, because of the 20th Anniversary of the Berlin Wall fall, which took place on this very day." The Comission even prepared the statements and the papers of its course of work during the past twenty years, which were to be published in a special editions forseen for the November 23rd.
