Due to emotional pain, the parents of Ivana Hodak, her father Zvonimir Hodak and mother Ljerka Mintas Hodak, are suing the Croatian weeklies “Nacional” and “Globus” over an edited photograph which shows the murdered Ivana in Vladimir Zagorec’s lap, reports Vecerni List.
The disputed photograph appeared on the cover of Globus on October 31, with the title “Secret Love Between Zagorec and Ivana Hodak”. Ivana’s parents claim that the reputation and dignity of their daughter was violated in an ugly way. Via their lawyer they stated that their daughter lived morally and ideally.
Ljerka Mintas Hodak and Zvonimir Hodak are also suing Nacional for headlines about their daughter, and are seeking 200,000 kuna from them.
