They are only waiting for extradition agreement between Serbia and Croatia. I will be nothing but a trophy for Croatia, Joca Amsterdam says during the trial.
- There is no evidence that links me to Ivo Pukanic’s murder. Our court does not even try to investigate things, but instead, it keeps waiting for the international extradition agreement between Serbia and Croatia to come through. I will be a trophy for the Croatian authorities who only protect their own interests and really avoid trying to find Pukanic’s killer - Joca Amsterdam said during a trial that charges him for murder incitement.
After this statement, judge Mirjana Popovic warned Jocic asking him not to combine two different subjecs, to which Jocic replied by saying that they only appear different.
'Presumption of guilt is deducted from the fact that I am still in custody'
In fact, Jocic is confident that various political structures conspired against him and he defends himself by saying that he unsuccessfully proposed bringing 70 witnesses from the political, military and police leadership of Bulgaria, The Netherlands and Germany, who are most certainly able to confirm that he had nothing to do with the murder. Jocic also adds that he is not afraid of Croats.
- Two procedures against me total in five months of custody, so I am obviously presumed to be guilty before I even had a chance to defend myself. I repeat that I have nothing to do with Marjanovic’s murder and I’ve already supported this with serious arguments - said Joca Amsterdam.
In his opinion, the entire case against him was constructed by the German, Dutch and Serbian police, who work on behalf of Croatian and Serbian war criminals, Joca says.
