Government reached an agreement that the contract of indeterminate duration can be reached for as long as three years for the same or different jobs at the same employer. After fifteen months of negotiations, numerous disputes betwen the unions and the employers regarding changes of the Workforce law, government reached its final version, says Večernji list. The greatest disputes were concerning the contract of indeterminate duration.
Until now the only thing that existed was a contract for the same position, after which the employer changed a name of the working post while continuing with the practice of the Workforce Law, and the contract of determinate duration. Rights of the employees possessing a contract of determinate duration cannot vary from those in a possession of a contract of indeterminate duration, while every violation of the above would be considered harsh violation of the workforce law, decided the government
