The American actors Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will jointly lead the next year’s Oscars, organizers announced.
Martin (64) has led the awards ceremony twice and Baldwin will be appearing for the first time.
This will be the first time since the 1987 that the Academy Awards will have two leaders. Last year's host, Australian Hugh Jackman, rejected a new engagement last week.
Steve Martin became famous as a stand-up comedian and confirmed his star status with successful roles in numerous film comedies. Baldwin appeared in much broader range of genres, including those in film and television.
