Jennifer Hudson Named Her Dogs After Her Awards

The 'Dreamgirls' star christened her pooches in honour of the trophies she has won as both an actress and singer.

She explained: "The boy's called Oscar and the girl is Grammy - and I called their puppies after other awards I won like Golden Globe, Sag, and another is called Bafta."

Despite her success, Jennifer - who appeared on US TV talent show 'American Idol' - admits she is amazed at how well she has done.

She added: "I don't understand it. I have to laugh at myself, like, 'I won an Academy Award?'

"I'm just this normal person. I don't like wearing a lot of make-up or being overdressed all the time. I want to be comfortable, wear no make-up, have my hair all over my head."

Jennifer recently revealed Whitney Houston saved her career. She said: "I sang a Whitney song on 'American Idol' and we have been in contact ever since. I wouldn't be here without her. There has been nothing better than having her support."
