Housewives from Wisteria Lane are not going anywhere. Variety reports that ‘Housewives’ director, Marc Cherry has extended his ABC contract until the year 2013.
However, no confirmation has been issued that the main actresses, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross, agreed to join the ride.
Current contract compels the ladies to stay during the year 2010/2011; that is during the seven seasons of The Desperate Housewives.
However, rumors say that Cherry will be the executive producer during the eighth and ninth season as well.
