Irish rock group U2 will hold a free concert in Berlin on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
MTV reported that the concert will be held in front of the Brandenburg Gate on November 5th, that is, during the MTV’s Europe Music Awards ceremony.
U2's manager Paul McGuinness said that they would be coming to Berlin exaclty 20 years after the fall of the wall. Demolition of the Berlin Wall began on November 9th, 1989.
