Los Angeles-based Regent acquired the rights from Canadian producer Halifax Film.
The film centers on Canadian Lt. Gen. Romeo Dallaire's experience as a leader of U.N. troops in Rwanda in 1994. Regent will release the film to theaters in the summer.
"Devil," starring Roy Dupuis and Deborah Kara Unger, was produced by Michael Donovan, debuted at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival. Los Angeles-based Regent acquired the rights from Canadian producer Halifax Film.
