One of the best and busiest Croatian actors, Rade Serbedzija, will act in the new sequel of one of the most popular film series: Harry Potter.
He announced this at a press conference at the presentation of the film “Fugitive Pieces” in which he acts as a Greek who saves of Polish Jew, and he was nominated for a Canadian national film award for it.

I have nice memories and friendships from recording
As far as the film is concerned which he came to present at the 3rd JFF, which will be shown today in the “Europa” cinema, Serbedzija revealed that a film recorded two years ago in Canada and Greece is in question, and that it was especially meaningful for him.
“That is a type of role that I rarely get in my international career, and I consider that it returns me on the path I was on before the film “Before The Rain” said Serbezija. He added that he only has the nicest memories and great friendships from the filming, especially with the 11 year old actor that personified the Polish Jew that Serbedzija saves.
“It was a delicate job to establish relations with that boy. But I spoke to him as someone equal to me, I spent a lot of time with him and talked to him. The greatest compliment that I could receive was given to me by that young actor at the film festival in Rome. They asked him how it was to work with Rade Serbedzija, and he thought for a while and said: I think that Rade and I have become friends” says Serbedzija.
Also, he announced that he also acts in a series. He says that he is killed in the pilot episode even though he is one of the main actors, and that his theatre Ulysses is making a guest appearance in Novi Sad soon, with five performances including King Lear.
