The fact is that every concert of any musician is a special story, but as far as performance goes, U2 showed at both concerts that they gave their heart to Zagreb and all they know. There were no lies or pretences, 130,000 people cannot be fooled. Satisfied audience and happy faces of the singing crowd witness that the concert was a sure shot. The streets of Zagreb again resounded with U2 smash hits, sung by their fans.
Many people did not enter the stadium, but secured their position outside in the street, because they had to enjoy the sounds of the Irish rockers. Under the North and East stalls, curious passers-by occupied Maksimirska Street, even the police had to intervene and ask the people to move for traffic.

Simona delights with belly dancing
We met with Maja Valjak of Lupa promocija concert organiser, who was exceptionally pleased with both concerts and could not hide her delight.
- What can I say other than that I am delighted. Everything went fine, you can see for yourselves, Maksimir Stadium was full on both days. This will be remembered for years – Valjak said.
U2 did not have many changes in the set list for their second show. They played “One” at the end of the concert, instead of the middle part. Every single person in the stadium sang “I Still Haven`t Found What I`m Looking For” and “Stuck In A Moment” was played instead of “Stay”, while “Mysterious Ways” replaced “Until The End Of The World”.
During “Mysterious Ways”, Bono took a girl called Simona to the stage. Much to the audience`s delight, she danced with the singer.

Bono again quoted Croatian renaissance author Ivan Gundulic, adding that Croats should be proud of their history and traditions, but at the same time should honour their present and future.
- We have spent a few beautiful days in your majestic country of a thousand islands. Thank you for everything, goodbye and see you soon – Bono Vox closed the concert.
